Job Summary
Executive Director in Morgan Stanley's Fixed Income ABS Lending group leads origination and transaction execution for ABS lending, collaborates with investment banking and capital markets partners to originate transactions, oversees the full transaction lifecycle from origination through closing, manages workflow and mentors junior team members, and works with clients, credit partners, accounting firms and legal counsel to structure and close deals; requires 8+ years in ABS Lending or Structured Finance, strong communication skills, familiarity with securitization structures and legal documentation, and an undergraduate degree (master's preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in ABS Lending or Structured Finance
- Strong oral / written communication and presentation skills
- Comfort with legal documentation and securitization structures
- Ability to operate collaboratively and train junior team members
- Undergraduate degree required; master's degree a plus
