Job Summary
FS/QA Technician responsible for daily food safety activities (pre-, during, and post-operational checks), temperature/cooler/freezer verifications, thermometer calibration, sanitizer checks, and third-party cleaning verification; reinforce GMP practices through floor walks and self-audits; escalate non-compliance to FS/QA leadership and follow up on corrective actions; conduct traceability audits, lab collections, and swabs to ensure QA, regulatory compliance, and adherence to local, state, federal, and international food safety standards; requires 3+ years QA administration experience and MS Office/SharePoint proficiency; includes long hours on foot and willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays; compensation $22.00-$25.00 hourly with benefits for full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 3 years’ experience in QA administration and document control
- Good computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Ability to work long hours on foot in varying temperatures
- Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays)
