Job Summary
The Frozen Food Manager is responsible for maintaining and operating all aspects of the Frozen Food Department, including verifying deliveries, managing stock and inventory levels, executing price changes, and ensuring product freshness. Key responsibilities involve communicating temperature failures, controlling damaged merchandise, and maintaining good customer relations. The role requires effective communication skills, an ability to follow instructions, and physical capability to lift heavy items regularly. This position is full-time and reports to the Store Director or Grocery Supervisor, adhering to company policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, ordering, and maintaining inventory levels
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds thirty percent (30%) of the time
