Job Summary
The Frozen Foods Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the frozen food department. Key responsibilities include unloading merchandise, transporting stock, pricing items, stocking shelves, building displays, rotating perishable merchandise, controlling damaged goods, and ensuring proper presentation of the assigned section. Candidates must have the ability to read and write, lift heavy merchandise, and follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
