Job Summary
The Frozen Food Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the frozen food department. Key responsibilities include assisting in unloading merchandise, transporting stock to storage areas, pricing items, keeping shelves stocked, building store displays, rotating perishable goods, controlling damaged items, and presenting the assigned section properly. The role requires the ability to follow instructions and involves physical tasks such as lifting heavy items.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
