Job Summary
Provide helpful guest service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally. Assist with product requests to help guests locate specific frozen or dairy items and take special orders when needed. Maintain cleanliness and organization by ensuring the sales floor is neat, tidy, and free of spills. Manage inventory efficiently using the first-in, first-out method to rotate stock and ensure product availability. Support department standards by meeting expectations for product quality, availability, and cleanliness. Work primarily in afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays as a part-time role.
Required Qualifications
- Full understanding of safety protocols and company policies, including the ability to recognize and address potential safety hazards on the store premises
- Knowledge of ability to learn equipment and procedures such as proper lifting techniques, trash compactors, balers, and power equipment
- Lifting up to 50 pounds on an consistent basis
- Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
- Ability to interact tactfully and professionally with both guests, leaders and retail sales associate team members
