Job Summary
The Frozen Foods Clerk is responsible for maintaining pricing, stocking, and rotation of merchandise in the frozen foods department to ensure freshness and availability of products. Key responsibilities include unloading deliveries, transporting and replenishing stock, building displays, rotating perishables, and greeting customers. The role requires the ability to lift heavy items, stand for long periods, and follow instructions. Adherence to company policies and maintenance of a neat appearance are also necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and write to properly tag merchandise, maintain proper inventory level and ensure rotation of product
- Ability to unload, transport, and place merchandise in specific areas
- Ability to lift up to seventy (70) pounds at least forty percent (40%) of the time
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Must be able to stand upright for most of your scheduled work shift and work in the cold freezers
