Job Summary
The Froster is responsible for creating high-quality cakes by following proprietary frosting recipes and application methods. This role involves utilizing measuring instruments and commercial-grade equipment to frost cakes, managing cake pre-orders, ensuring adequate supplies in the bakery display, and maintaining inventory logs. The position also requires cleaning and sanitizing workstations while adhering to health and safety guidelines. The ideal candidate should have the ability to understand directions, use measurements accurately, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain a high standard of quality control.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to follow NbC proprietary frosting recipe and application methods with precision
- Ability to utilize measuring instruments and commercial equipment
- Capability to prioritize workload and perform repetitious tasks
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to health and safety practices
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in an operational support role at a bakery or restaurant or in a food service environment
