Job Summary
Frosh/Soph Girls Volleyball Coach needed to lead the F/S girls volleyball team at Lick-Wilmerding High School. Responsibilities include developing and implementing practice plans, managing game-day lineups and strategy, communicating with student-athletes, parents, and coaching staff, developing players’ volleyball skills, evaluating players for roster decisions, fostering a positive team culture, ensuring safety and compliance, supporting student-athletes’ academic eligibility, and coordinating with the Varsity and JV coaches to align strategies and development plans. Requirements include prior volleyball coaching experience (high school or youth), high school diploma, deep knowledge of volleyball rules and strategies, leadership ability, CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain, CIF/NFHS coaching certifications or willingness to obtain, and passing a background check. Preferred attributes include strong communication and organizational skills, teamwork, passion for volleyball and working with high school athletes, and a commitment to sportsmanship and academic success.
