Job Summary
Operate a front-load truck to collect and transport waste and recyclables from residential, commercial, and industrial sites to company recycling facilities and nearby energy recovery facilities. Must hold CDL Class A or B with airbrakes endorsement and have at least 2 years of Waste & Recycling driving experience. Responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspections, DOT/OSHA compliance, communicating with mechanics and management for breakdowns, completing required paperwork, and providing courteous, customer-service oriented interactions with the public and company personnel. Requires ability to lift 50 lbs, climb in/out of the truck, and operate the vehicle safely and productively.
Required Qualifications
- CDL Class A or B with airbrakes endorsement
- Minimum of 2 years of Waste & Recycling driving experience
- Minimum of 23 years of age
- Ability to operate a front-load truck
- Clean MVR
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb in/out of truck, push/pull containers repeatedly
- Ability to comply with DOT/OSHA regulations
- Pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Accurate daily paperwork
- Customer service-friendly interaction with customers and staff
