Job Summary
Frontline Leader for a warehouse team overseeing the timely movement of inventory, materials, and products. Train, coach, and develop team members to improve performance, safety, and engagement; monitor workflow and staffing to meet productivity and service targets; operate forklifts and act as a hands-on resource; investigate discrepancies and coordinate cross-functionally to resolve issues. Drive continuous improvement with a focus on safety, quality, and adherence to established processes (Red Tag, quarantine, root-cause analysis). Evaluate and recommend process improvements to ensure efficient picking, packing, shipping/receiving, and overall operational performance; maintain clear communication about day-to-day operations, metrics, customer demands, and obstacles. Strong emphasis on leadership, accountability, and capability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years or older
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse/logistics/materials management
- Hands-on experience with receiving processes including system entry and discrepancy resolution
- Forklift experience required (certification preferred or ability to obtain quickly)
- Strong working knowledge of inventory control practices and warehouse operations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive accountability, and improve performance
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
