Job Summary
Frontier Agents Intern collaborating on research to advance frontier AI systems. Responsibilities include researching and implementing novel techniques in ML/DL for agentic tasks, designing and conducting rigorous experiments to validate hypotheses, documenting findings for publications and blogs, and communicating project plans and results to the wider team. The program spans 12 to 16 weeks from September 14 to December 18, with compensation details including an hourly rate in the $58-$63 range and housing stipends. The role emphasizes solving problems at the intersection of agent capabilities, HCI, and infrastructure, with opportunities to contribute to open-source projects and influence the design of training recipes, datasets, and safety paradigms for agentic behavior.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Masters or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Science, or a related field
- Publications at leading ML, NLP, or speech conferences or journals (such as NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL, EMNLP, Interspeech)
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning and Deep Learning fundamentals
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (PyTorch, JAX, etc.)
- Understanding of how LLMs work
- Strong programming skills in Python
- Familiarity with Transformer architectures and recent developments in foundation models
