Job Summary
Frontier Agents Engineer on Scale AI's Enterprise team, serving as the technical bridge between Scale AI's capabilities and enterprise customers. You will work with customer engineering teams to understand technical infrastructure, architect custom AI solutions, and ensure successful deployment and adoption of AI systems in production. Responsibilities include designing and implementing integrations between Scale AI's platform and customer data environments, building robust data connectors and ETL pipelines, deploying AI models and agents, developing production-grade multi-agent systems, implementing evaluation frameworks, performing prompt engineering and optimization (including RAG and fine-tuning), providing technical leadership to strategic accounts, and collaborating with customers and internal teams to translate needs into product improvements. You will also stay current with AI/ML research and contribute to innovation and productization opportunities, while delivering clear technical documentation and knowledge transfer to customer teams.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of software engineering experience
- Production Python expertise with modern ML/AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace, OpenAI API)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
