Job Summary
Frontend Developer role to join the Megaport Engineering team, focusing on building high-quality web experiences for the Megaport Portal and internal/customer-facing software. You’ll contribute to a modern frontend stack (Vue 3, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, Tanstack, NX Monorepo), implement new functionality, improve code architectures, and collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-performing, accessible, and responsive web applications. Responsibilities include building and maintaining applications, implementing reactive and scalable technical solutions, developing tests (unit/integration/end-to-end) with Playwright and Vitest, and advancing knowledge of design principles and maintainable architecture.
Required Qualifications
- Proven track record of building high-performance and high-quality software with experience in building applications with Vue, Nuxt or other frameworks such as Angular or React
- Solid understanding of web standards including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript Web APIs, and accessibility
- Experience developing responsive web applications across devices
- Experience consuming and integrating web services
- Agile mindset and collaborative team player
- Ability to understand business requirements and implement scalable technical solutions
- Experience with testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) using tools such as Playwright and Vitest
- Knowledge of design principles and maintainable architecture
