Job Summary
Frontend Software Engineer_Journeyman at NSITE: responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining the NSITE software application on an agile team; communicate with leadership and the customer to ensure a common understanding of requirements; document work for teammates, users, leadership, and posterity; identify and solve challenging problems by writing performant, clean, and practical code; contribute to UI design using WPF with MVVM, and leverage C# and .NET; collaborate with a diverse government-facing user base and domain areas such as tactical data links and BMDS testing; apply Agile practices and produce robust, testable software with attention to code quality and maintainability.
Required Qualifications
- Active Secret Clearance, or ability to obtain one
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent
- 5 years experience working with Software Design and Development
- Proficient in C#, and in Microsoft .NET
- Proficient in WPF with MVVM patterns
- Ability to design and build an intuitive User Interface (UI)
- Knowledge of modern software engineering practices, including Agile methodologies
- Ability to analyze a requirement, generate a design, and produce efficient, robust, and testable software
- Ability to understand, and evaluate WPF / C# code and develop corresponding unit test(s)
