Job Summary
Collaborate with Product Managers and UX Designers to execute technical requirements, design, and test plans for the web application. Develop maintainable software using TypeScript, ReactJS, and Next.js, focusing on gracefully handling error conditions and crafting exceptional user experiences. Conduct thorough testing, including creating automated test suites, to ensure the software functions as intended. Advance the software framework and tools to facilitate product expansion while introducing new technology to enhance codebase quality and reduce development cycles. Work in a hybrid role across San Francisco, New York, or Waterloo hubs, contributing to Cambio's mission of decarbonizing commercial real estate.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States or Canada
- 2-3+ years of software engineering experience
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as ReactJS, VueJS or similar frameworks
- Strong grasp of computer science concepts and algorithmic fundamentals
- Ability to derive multiple solutions for a single problem and propose the best option
- Understanding of the need for technical trade-offs and adherence to the You Aren't Gonna Need It principle
- Creative approach to debugging and problem-solving
- Ability to think outside the box when addressing challenges
- Prioritize the team's success and foster effective collaboration with colleagues
- Hybrid role based out of any 3 of our North American hubs: San Francisco, New York and Waterloo
