Job Summary
Contribute clean, performant code to the core platform and design reliable public-facing APIs. Collaborate with product stakeholders, designers, and engineers to deliver features supporting business objectives across e-commerce, internationalization, and reporting domains. Refactor and optimize code while proactively writing tests and documentation to ensure maintainability. Participate actively in the full Agile development lifecycle from planning to release, providing constructive feedback on pull requests. Work remotely with a 4-day work week once monthly, supported by a sign-on bonus and access to technical training resources.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years experience building web applications
- Agile software development methodologies
- Working with technologies and frameworks similar to those we use most often
- CI/CD pipelines
- Github or bitbucket for source/version control
- Communicating clearly and kindly with technical and non-technical colleagues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience building SaaS platforms or customer-facing applications
- Direct experience with Javascript, Ember.js, and React
- Related experience and an eagerness to learn
