Job Summary
Frontend Engineer to enhance SonarQube Cloud and Server, collaborate with Product Managers and UX designers, participate in sprints to deliver features, maintain and improve existing functionality, write unit/integration/tests, conduct code reviews, mentor teammates, engage with the community, and support production issues through an on-call rotation. Role requires a strong foundation in TypeScript and React (or similar), experience designing and consuming REST APIs, building cloud-native applications (AWS), and a proactive, independent work style in a fast-paced environment based in Austin. The position emphasizes leadership, mentorship, and collaboration across global teams.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Front End Software Engineer
- TypeScript development expertise
- Proficiency with React or other modern front-end frameworks
- Leadership experience and ability to mentor teammates
- Commitment to high-quality code with unit and integration tests, and end-to-end tests
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
