Job Summary

Build and maintain React components for the Sanity-based order page application, implementing new content types and schemas to enable marketer self-service control. Write and maintain end-to-end tests covering critical purchase paths while contributing to URL structure, routing, and application architecture improvements. Collaborate with marketing, product, and engineering teams via Zoom, Jira, and Slack to explore AI-assisted generation and A/B testing of order page content. Optimize web performance through caching and asset bundling, and participate in an on-call rotation while reviewing code and staying steady during shifting requirements. This contract engagement offers meaningful ownership over a high-traffic, revenue-critical platform at a company helping investors for 30 years.

Required Qualifications

  • Experience with Docker, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines for Next.js applications
  • Experience with A/B testing frameworks
  • Familiarity with system monitoring and error reporting tools like Datadog and Sentry
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote contractor capacity: proactive, communicative, and low-maintenance
  • Use AI tools (like Claude Code and multi-agent workflows) daily to assist with planning and implementation, thoughtfully, not blindly
  • Solid handle on web performance optimization: caching, asset bundling, and the like
  • Clean communication habits: daily stand-up attendance, timely Slack responses, Jira ticket updates, and proactive status updates
  • Experience reviewing code and participating in an on-call rotation
  • Ability to balance business goals against engineering preferences
