Front Store Clerk

Job Summary
Provide warm customer service, greet customers, operate the cash register, stock shelves, tidy aisles, and support front-store tasks; ensure store cleanliness, security, and policy adherence (including lottery and CBO ticket handling); monitor cash levels and request pickups as needed; develop product knowledge, maintain store layout, merchandise effectively with shelf labels, rotation, and facing; manage allocated sections and notify buyers of out-of-stock items; assist with inventory and reordering, support seasonal displays and promotions; handle difficult customer situations with tact and escalate complaints; report customer feedback to the store manager; stay productive between interactions and complete miscellaneous duties as assigned by the Front Store Manager or Store Operator/Pharmacy Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Accurate cash handling and strong customer service skills
- Criminal Record Check required
- Experience in merchandising, retail, or cashiering is an asset
- Ability to stand for extended periods and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, courteous communication and strong product knowledge
- Mature, cooperative attitude with a professional appearance, including proper grooming and name tag
