Job Summary
Lead front office teams in a healthcare/dental office to deliver a five-star patient experience from check-in to check-out. Responsibilities include coaching and training front office staff, coordinating patient reception, verifying insurance, managing appointment scheduling, handling phone and email inquiries, maintaining accurate patient records, assisting with prior authorizations and benefits explanations, coordinating with oral surgeons and clinical staff, ordering office supplies, and ensuring adherence to office policies and confidentiality. Requires strong communication, organizational skills, discretion with sensitive information, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a commitment to healthcare excellence.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- 5 or more years of experience as a Front Office Administrator, Receptionist, or similar role in a healthcare or dental setting is required
- 1 or more years of experience leading teams in a medical office setting required
- Proven background providing exceptional patient support and customer service
- Driven, organized, and detail oriented in approach to managing responsibilities
- Proficiency in computer software applications
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to handle patient records, scheduling, and administrative tasks efficiently
- Professional language and customer service mindset
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to use discretion while working with sensitive information
- Excellent documentation, communication, and Microsoft Office skills
