Job Summary
Front Office Specialist serving as the first point of contact to deliver a world class Total Patient Experience. Responsibilities include greeting patients, answering phones, managing patient flow, checking in/out, handling cash, ensuring accurate insurance authorizations and daily reconciliations, and maintaining HIPAA-compliant office procedures. Requires strong customer service skills, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to work in a medical-office setting with attention to accuracy and confidentiality. Located in Uniontown, OH with potential travel to other locations as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year in a position interacting with customers/patients or the equivalent combination of education and experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous medical office experience preferred; previous ophthalmic experience strongly preferred
- Favorable result on background check as required by state
- Must be able to provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States
