Job Summary
Front Office Specialist (6 month contract) responsible for delivering omni-channel customer service across voice, email, and chat for lending and onboarding in a financial services environment. Key duties include managing time and performance against SLAs/KPIs, becoming SME in Lula’s lending and support processes, helping drive lending applications and service quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing high-quality, customer-centric service across multiple channels. Requires 4+ years in customer support in banking/financial services, Matric, and strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities. Fintech/startup experience and SME exposure are advantageous. Lends focus to improving internal workflows and customer outcomes with a detail-oriented, dependable, and empathetic approach.
Required Qualifications
- Matric required
- Finance diploma is a plus
- 4+ years’ experience in customer support, ideally in banking or financial services
- Experience with SME customers is advantageous
- Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service
- Omni-channel support experience (email, chat, phone, etc.)
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Fintech and/or startup experience is a bonus
- Detail-oriented with strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Resilient and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
