Job Summary
Manage the Front Office throughout the evening and overnight shift, assuring property operation meets internal audit standards and maintaining a neat work area. Coordinate guest and group transportation needs, including VIP arrivals and departures, while overseeing hotel dry cleaning logistics. Demonstrate positive leadership by selecting, training, supervising, and scheduling staff according to Davidson policies. Monitor payroll hours and reports, complete forecasts and action plans, and respond promptly to guest needs. Solicit feedback and report all unsafe conditions immediately. Conduct performance appraisals and cross-train employees as duties are assigned.
Required Qualifications
- College level reasoning, math, and language skills
- Two years prior departmental management experience in front office or related disciplines
- Time management and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage and lead each discipline of the department independently
- Ability to manage according to employment and Innkeeper laws of the jurisdiction
- Prior cash handling experience
- Computer experience
- Read, write and speak English fluently
