Job Summary
Oversee front desk operations and guest services, manage shifts and coverage, train Front Desk Agents, and ensure smooth day-to-day hotel front desk activities. Responsibilities include welcoming and registering guests, verifying rates and departure dates, processing check-outs, upselling rooms and hotel promotions, handling cash and payroll tasks, promoting the Rewards Program, managing mail and packages, conducting pre-shift staff briefings, ensuring proper staffing during peak periods, coordinating with department managers for consistency, monitoring and counseling staff performance, maintaining grooming and uniform standards, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. The role requires effective communication, multitasking, attention to guest needs, adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to work within hotel policies while supporting team collaboration and guest satisfaction.
