Job Summary
The Front Office Manager oversees front desk operations to ensure exceptional guest service, leads and trains front desk staff, manages check-in/check-out procedures, handles reservations and cash transactions, maintains systems and records, and ensures a welcoming guest experience while complying with safety policies. Responsibilities include conducting pre-shift meetings, managing supplies, promoting hotel amenities to boost room revenue, handling guest inquiries, and acting as Manager on Duty as required. Requires a High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) and hospitality experience; proficiency with Windows-based software and PMS is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Customer Service: Friendly demeanor with excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Technical Skills: Prior experience using Windows-based software preferred.
- Physical Abilities: Ability to stand 90% of the day and perform physical tasks such as lifting supplies (up to 50 lbs.), bending, and reaching.
- Experience: Previous front desk or hospitality experience is preferred.
