Job Summary
Supervise the daily operations of the Front Desk staff to maximize revenues and profits while attaining optimal guest satisfaction. Essential duties include interviewing, hiring, training, evaluating performance, resolving problems, and communicating openly; responding to guest requests and accommodating groups to ensure repeat business; implementing company programs and supervising Front Desk operations to comply with SOPs and LSOPs; supervising Front Desk Guest Service Agents; remaining calm during emergencies and high activity, making informed decisions, and authorizing revenue adjustments when appropriate; maintaining regular attendance; and performing other related duties. Required skills include English communication, a professional appearance and demeanor, strong guest service orientation, teamwork, conflict resolution, basic mathematical skills, proficiency with a moderately complex computer system, and the ability to stand and work behind the front desk; the role emphasizes building effective working relationships with guests, associates, and patrons.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years in a hotel supervisory position is required
- Must have the ability to communicate in English
