Job Summary
Front Office Manager responsible for leading all Front Desk operations to deliver attentive, friendly, efficient service and maximize room revenue and occupancy. Oversees guest requests, complaints, and reservations with a focus on satisfaction; conducts interviews and performance appraisals, trains and coaches front desk staff, manages payroll and scheduling, and ensures adherence to Avion Hospitality SOPs. Drives revenue through rate monitoring, occupancy analysis, and effective up-selling; maintains cash handling integrity and collaborates with Accounting on financial items. Requires supervisory experience, strong communication, problem-solving, data interpretation, and the ability to work in high-pressure environments. Must be proficient with Windows, spreadsheets, and word processing; valid driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years progressive hotel/related field experience OR 2-year college degree with 3+ years related experience OR 4-year college degree with 1+ year related experience
- supervisory experience
- proficiency in Windows OS, spreadsheets and word processing
- valid state driver’s license
- strong communication and analytical abilities
- ability to work under pressure
- data interpretation and financial understanding
- ability to train and develop staff
- ability to manage front desk operations and guest relations
- knowledge of front office systems and cash handling
- availability for rostered shifts including evenings/weekends
