Job Summary
Front Office Manager at Mantra Charles (Launceston, TAS) leads front-of-house operations, fosters team unity, and creates memorable guest experiences. Responsibilities include communicating with guests and colleagues, resolving challenges with creative solutions, recruiting/training/mentoring Front Office staff, ensuring OH&S compliance, managing reservations and guest accounts, analyzing reports and data, and monitoring budgets and revenue to achieve financial objectives. Requires hotel-operations experience with a Supervisor/Manager background, strong organizational and time-management skills, proficiency with reservation/property management systems, excellent written/spoken communication, and a flexible rotating schedule (nights, weekends, holidays).
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Hotel Operations, with a track record as a Supervisor or Manager
- Proven ability to multi task and thrive under pressure
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using reservation and property management systems
- Excellent written and spoken communication
- Flexibility to work a rotating schedule including nights, weekends, and public holidays
