Job Summary
Front Office Lead at CAO with supervisory responsibilities in a multi-location orthopaedics practice. The role focuses on mentoring front office staff, ensuring compliant front-office workflows, handling patient communications, and overseeing administrative processes. Key duties include designing and managing collaborative processes, overseeing call queue traffic and data reporting, ensuring professional communications with patients and vendors, training staff, administering forms and consent-to-treat documentation, handling patient requests within guidelines, managing records and invoice documentation, supporting claim payments in EHRS, and maintaining attention to detail in invoicing and vendor/patient interactions. The position requires strong interpersonal and written communication skills, the ability to work independently, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and experience navigating a healthcare-environment workflow. Physical demand considerations include long periods of sitting and the ability to perform typical administrative tasks in a clinical setting.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of Office experience in healthcare or related area
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Proficient knowledge of medical terminology
- Above average spelling and typing skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
- Experience collaborating across multiple functions
- Experience innovating in a fast-growing work environment and dealing with ambiguity
