Job Summary
Front Office III at an oral surgery practice handles patient reception, insurance verification, and administrative workflows. Responsibilities include verifying insurance, obtaining breakdowns, greeting patients, presenting and obtaining signatures on financial forms, ensuring demographics and insurance accuracy, attaching forms to charts, creating notes for insurance and financial information, adding insurance to accounts and creating claims, coordinating with surgical staff for additional information, processing treatment plans and charges, generating predeterminations and prior authorizations, and submitting required documentation to insurers. Requires 2+ years in a dental/medical office, strong communication and organizational skills, discretion with sensitive information, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to multi-task under pressure. Schedule is Monday through Friday with an 8-hour day; role is on-site and local to commute daily.
