Job Summary
Front Office Coordinator responsible for patient-centered front desk operations in ophthalmology/optometry settings, including scheduling visits, verifying insurance and prior authorizations, processing payments, maintaining EMR records, greeting patients, and ensuring a organized reception area. Requires 2-3 years medical office clerical experience, EMR proficiency, ability to type 40-50 WPM, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and capability to handle multiple tasks across clinics. Travel between clinic locations and potential overtime may be required to support operations. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, holidays, and certification reimbursement. Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of clerical/reception experience in a medical office setting
- EMR Experience
- Ability to type 40 to 50 WPM
- Proficiency with standard office software applications (Outlook, Microsoft Office)
- Detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Enjoys interacting with patients, techs, and other healthcare professionals
- Travel between clinic locations and/or overtime may be required based on operational needs
