Job Summary
Greeting and assisting patients at check-in and check-out; scheduling appointments according to provider targets and templates; verify patient demographics and insurance in EPM; perform financial screening to determine program eligibility and discuss patient balances; review charges from EHR and key charges not brought over electronically; review adjustments and payments for all programs at checkout; run and review end-of-day reports; collaborate with clinical and non-clinical staff as a Care Team member to support patient health and well-being; ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of information; knowledge of medical front office operations including health insurance verification; CPT & ICD-10 codes are a plus; responsibilities include printing and attaching encounter forms, confirming appointments, and balancing money and payment batches.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited High School or equivalent
