Job Summary
Front Office Application Developer - Python role at Qube Research & Technologies. Design, develop, and maintain software solutions with clean, modern architecture; collaborate with front office to implement technical solutions for new trading initiatives; communicate with quants and traders to deliver bespoke software; leverage data-driven pipelines and analytics to bring in new ideas. Requires 2-8 years of software development experience with Python and NumPy/Pandas, solid software architecture understanding, CS fundamentals, Linux experience, Cloud/AWS, and Docker. Knowledge of Java/C++, C# is a plus. Fast-paced, collaborative environment with a focus on delivering technical solutions for quantitative trading. Required Qualifications
- 2-8 years software development experience
- Solid experience in Python and core libraries such as NumPy and Pandas
- Proven understanding of modern software architecture
- Strong CS fundamentals
- Experience with Linux environments, Cloud Platforms (AWS preferred) and Docker
- Experience with Java, C++, or C# is a plus
- Agility to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong team-player
- Strong communication skills
- Previous experience in finance is an advantage, but not a must
