Job Summary
Greet and assist customers to ensure a positive dining experience while taking orders accurately using POS systems. Handle cash transactions and maintain register accuracy, then collaborate with kitchen staff for timely service and quality presentation. Maintain front of house cleanliness by bussing tables and cleaning surfaces, managing time effectively during busy periods. Previous food service experience is preferred, and familiarity with cash handling and POS systems is advantageous.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques
- Experience with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- A passion for culinary arts or experience in grocery store settings is advantageous
