Job Summary
Welcome guests with a friendly, enthusiastic, and professional attitude while assisting with directions, event information, boarding locations, and schedules. Manage guest flow and crowd management before, during, and after the train ride, and help create an immersive atmosphere consistent with THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride experience. Assist guests with boarding and exiting the train, monitor Front of House areas to ensure they remain clean and safe, and resolve guest concerns by escalating issues to supervisors when needed. Support event setup, operations, and closing procedures, and follow all safety and emergency procedures. Work closely with the Ticket Office to assist with ticketing questions and direct guests to appropriate team members.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions when required
- Must be dependable, punctual, and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended event days
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service, hospitality, entertainment, tourism, or event experience preferred but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to interact positively with children, families, and guests of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and personal presentation
- Ability to follow instructions and established procedures
