Job Summary
Greet customers, take orders using POS systems, and handle cash transactions while maintaining accurate register operations. Manage front of house cleanliness by bussing tables and cleaning surfaces, then collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality food presentation. Effectively manage time during busy periods to enhance customer satisfaction while adhering to food handling safety standards. Previous food service experience and strong communication skills are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and sales techniques
- Experience with POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members
- A passion for culinary arts or experience in grocery store settings is advantageous
