Job Summary
The Front of House Restaurant Supervisor will oversee daily front-of-house operations, supervise servers/hosts/bartenders/bussers, and ensure guest satisfaction from arrival to departure. Responsibilities include recruiting, training, and coaching staff; managing seating, reservations, and table turnover; coordinating with kitchen and management; maintaining cleanliness and adherence to health, safety, and sanitation standards; handling guest complaints professionally; monitoring cash handling and POS accuracy; and communicating operational updates during pre-shift meetings to ensure high service standards.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in a supervisory or lead position within a restaurant or hospitality environment
- Experience with customer service and staff management in fast-paced setting
- Familiarity with POS systems and restaurant management software
- Food Safety certification (may be required depending on location)
- First Aid/CPR certification (preferred)
