Job Summary
Screen, interview, hire, and train restaurant staff while managing their work schedules. Conduct regular kitchen inspections to verify hygiene and sanitation standards, and oversee food preparation, presentation, and storage for compliance with health regulations. Check in with dining customers to assess food quality and service, then resolve complaints professionally. Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, track cash flow, and review customer surveys to implement service improvements. Reports to the Director of Operations and Executive Chef/Partner. Requires high school diploma, six months of store manager experience, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment lifting 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Proven experience working as a supervisor in the hospitality industry
- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to stand for extended periods
- The ability to lift 50 lbs or more
- Strong management skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Effective communication skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- A minimum of 6 months experience as a Store Manager in a hospitality or retail environment
