Job Summary
Lead, coach, and support a Front of House team during The Polar Express™ Train Ride, overseeing daily guest check-ins and coordinating guest flow with the Ticket Office Supervisor. Assist guests with ticketing questions, reservation issues, and accessibility needs while maintaining a clean, presentable environment alongside Coach Maintenance staff. Model exceptional service standards, monitor guest interactions for real-time coaching, and respond professionally to concerns or complaints. Manage opening and closing procedures, delegate shift responsibilities, and communicate effectively with events teams and train crews to ensure smooth execution. Maintain a festive atmosphere reflecting the holiday spirit while navigating crowded areas safely. Requires evening, weekend, and holiday availability during the seasonal operating period.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality, attractions, tourism, retail, or customer service leadership
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays during the seasonal operating period
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Navigate crowded guest areas safely and efficiently
