Job Summary
Lead the front-of-house dining team in a senior living community to deliver warm, attentive, and professional hospitality during every dining experience. Oversee dining room service, setup, cleanliness, presentation, and ambiance; ensure etiquette, safety, and food-handling practices; support scheduling, onboarding, and ongoing staff development; coordinate with the culinary team for smooth communication between dining and kitchen; monitor resident satisfaction and address questions or concerns; assist with events, private dining, and resident programming; maintain a positive, professional presence with residents, families, guests, and team members; ensure compliance with community policies, sanitation standards, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Leadership experience in hospitality, restaurant, dining services, senior living, or related service
- Strong communication, organization, and team leadership skills
- Ability to train, motivate, and enforce service standards
- Passion for hospitality and creating meaningful experiences for seniors and families
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, or senior living dining (a plus)
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays/special events
- Ability to meet physical requirements
- Annual flu vaccine requirement with exemptions accepted
