Job Summary
Greet pet parents and dogs, check animals in and out, and manage front desk administrative duties including data entry, computer maintenance, phone calls, and filing client information. Schedule and confirm appointments and reservations while promoting and selling baths, day care, boarding packages, and training sessions. Clean throughout front and back areas, ensuring cabins and suites are deep cleaned, spot cleaned, and organized when boarders are out. Assist with new camper interviews, maintain Top Dog logs, and ensure all BOH checklists and shift huddles are completed. Provide excellent customer service and answer phones and texts at all times. Work a flexible schedule 7 days a week from 5:50 am to 8:00 pm, weekends and holidays required, with time off permitted after two weeks' notice.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- At least 21 years or older
- Be able to lift dog food and supplies
- Must be able to work flexible schedule
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be able to work at a fast pace
- Must have previous experience with customer service
- Available to answer the phone and text messages at all the times
- Ability to build client relationships
- Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong face-to-face customer service orientation with a high sense of urgency
- Must possess excellent presentation and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organization
- Working knowledge of basic web-based software and computer skills
- Effective collaborative skills, performing comfortably in group settings
- You must have your own reliable transportation
- You must not be allergic to animals
- Must be able to work at a fast pace, in a team environment, and have exceptional customer service skills
- Extremely energetic, outgoing, upbeat with a positive personality
- MUST LOVE DOGS - the noise, the hair, the messes the love, and the smiles
