Job Summary
Welcome guests warmly, take accurate orders via POS, and process cash, gift card, and credit transactions while managing receipts. Deliver food and beverage orders with enthusiasm, handle phone and online pickup orders, and provide knowledgeable menu information and selling techniques for promotions. Maintain station cleanliness, stock items, clear tables, and sanitize high-touch areas per health and safety standards. Assist with restaurant upkeep, including dish management, trash removal, and opening/closing procedures. Follow Gott's allergen policies, alcohol service rules, and recipes for house beverages. Communicate guest needs and issues to staff and managers immediately.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum 6 months customer service experience
- Restaurant service background and experience
- CA Food Handlers Certification
- Must wear close-toed, non-slip shoes
- Communicates well in English
- Ability to work in high paced work environment
- Ability to Multitask
- Ability to focus for an entire shift
- Trouble shooting and prioritizing skills
- Able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays
- Clear, effective verbal communication skills
