Job Summary
Operate a Front Load trash truck in accordance with D.O.T. regulations and company policy. Responsibilities include driving according to established routes, servicing customers courteously, operating the truck safely, maintaining driver-related records, and performing daily inspections. Physical requirements include the ability to sit for long periods, lift 75 pounds, and perform vehicle inspections unassisted. Must have a valid CDL Class B license and comply with safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Valid state commercial drivers license (CDL Class B or equivalent)
- Attention to detail to prevent damage to the truck, equipment, and surrounding items
- Ability to lift and move 75-pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, get into and out of truck cab unassisted
- Meet Department of Transportation physical and medical requirements
- Pass substance abuse screening
Additional Requirements
- Must notify the Company immediately of any accident, traffic violation, or license suspension
- Subject to random substance abuse screening under Department of Transportation or Company policy
