Job Summary
Lead a team of technicians and operatives, providing guidance, coaching, and day-to-day support while planning and allocating labour to meet production targets. Ensure all work adheres to health, safety, quality, and operational requirements, and support team development through training identification and performance management. Monitor progress against objectives and communicate direction to ensure teams have the necessary tools to succeed. This full-time, 36-hour role involves a two-week rotating shift pattern alternating between day and night shifts, based at the Rosyth site. You must be a sole UK national eligible for Security Check clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading, supervising, or managing teams within a production, engineering, manufacturing, marine, or operational environment
- Strong ability to motivate, coach, and develop people while building high-performing teams
- Good understanding of health, safety, and quality requirements within a production environment
- Experience planning resources and allocating labour to meet programme or production schedules
- Ability to interpret and apply method statements, risk assessments, and work instructions
- Demonstrable leadership experience gained within an engineering, manufacturing, production, or operational environment
- Must be a sole UK national
- Must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance
