Front-end Web Development Supervisor

Job Summary
Develop, maintain, and optimize user interfaces across all company websites using React and Next.js, ensuring cross-browser compatibility and adherence to modern web standards and accessibility guidelines. Lead, mentor, and support one sub-team through technical guidance, coaching, and performance management while conducting code reviews to promote best practices. Collaborate with graphic designers, back-end developers, and stakeholders to deliver reliable web solutions, implementing server-side rendering and static site generation features for SEO and performance. Research and evaluate new technologies, AI-assisted development tools, and modern workflows to improve code quality and operational efficiency. Maintain a consistent, branded look and feel across all platforms while working in a hybrid model with tight deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related field
- 6+ years of experience in front-end web development
- at least 2 years in a technical supervisory or technical coordinator role
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Experience mentoring developers across different seniority levels
- Native or near-native proficiency in English
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+), including DOM manipulation and the React lifecycle
- Solid understanding of Next.js features such as routing, API routes, middleware, and performance optimization
- Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern styling methodologies (e.g., CSS Modules, Tailwind, SCSS)
- Familiarity with headless CMS integration and SEO best practices for web apps
- Basic working knowledge of backend technologies such as PHP or Python
- Understanding of version control systems (Git) and agile workflows
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment with tight deadlines
