Front End Team Leader

Job Summary
Lead the front-end operations for the store, oversee a sales team focused on delivering a strong customer experience, and drive performance through associate development, payroll/expense management, shrink reduction, and asset protection. Responsibilities include coordinating donations programs and Ollie’s Army sign-ups, leading monthly safety meetings and follow-up actions, assisting with hiring, development, supervision, and scheduling of store associates, supporting merchandising execution and timely pricing updates, and performing all Team Leader duties to open/close the store as needed. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a mid- to large-size retailer, with schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Physical duties include lifting up to 50 pounds, pushing/pulling up to 35 pounds, and standing for extended periods. Ollie’s is an equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis
- Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Physical ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods and maintain alertness and safe working practices
