Job Summary
The Retail Front End Team Leader provides leadership for the successful operation of the front-end of the store, creating and leading a sales team focused on delivering a great customer experience. Responsibilities include overseeing front-end, entrance, and exterior standards; driving associate productivity and customer service; assisting with payroll budgets, store banking, shrink reduction, and related reporting; leading donation programs and Ollie’s Army sign-up; conducting monthly safety meetings; hiring, developing, supervising, and scheduling store associates; supporting merchandising execution and pricing updates; and performing team-leader duties to open/close the store and take on additional responsibilities as assigned. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of supervisory experience in a mid- to large-size retailer, flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and strong teamwork and customer-service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1–2 years of supervisory experience with a mid- to large-size retailer.
- Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
- Positive attitude and team player who interacts well with customers and associates.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
