Job Summary
Front End Supervisor at Total Wine & More for a new Bakersfield store. Leads front-end operations, supervises team members, delivers outstanding customer service, coaches peers, and supports training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills. Responsible for ensuring compliance with alcohol-sale regulations, maintaining store safety and cleanliness, and driving a welcoming store atmosphere while achieving KPIs and sales objectives. Requires 1-3 years of supervisory retail experience, strong interpersonal skills, POS/inventory familiarity, and flexibility to work evenings/weekends. Reports to store management and helps execute merchandising, service, and front-end operations to support a best-in-class customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in retail
- 1+ year of supervisory experience in a retail setting
- Strong interpersonal skills and a team player mindset
- Experience resolving customer issues and coaching peers
- Familiarity with POS systems and inventory management software
- Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Walk, bend, stand for long periods; lift up to 50 lbs; climb ladders
