Job Summary
Manage store operations in the absence of the Store Manager, ensuring company standards, expectations, and the dd's DISCOUNTS philosophy are consistently met across all assigned areas. Execute the business plan to deliver desired sales and profit while maintaining high-quality customer service and driving shortage control programs. Direct supervision of all non-exempt employees, including recruiting, training, and developing Associates. Requires at least two years of retail management experience and the ability to work evening, day, and weekend shifts.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of management experience in a retail environment
- Demonstrated ability to lead, manage motivate, and communicate positively with store associates at all levels
- Ability to train, coach, and develop Associates
- Highly developed organizational skills and ability to prioritize
- Ability to work a variety of shifts
- Must be able to move around all areas of the store
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Weekend availability
